This race revolves around Fakir d'Oudairies. He is a class act over fences and he gets weight from the top two here. However, he has needed his last couple of outings after similar breaks, he is tongue tied for the first time and he hasn't run over hurdles since 2019. French Dynamite is another useful sort over fences but he's hard to fancy on his most recent efforts. The Wallpark looks the most solid option, even though he has to give weight to his rivals. He's in top form, he won a big pot at this track last time out and there could be more to come from him.

In-form maidens Lady Mendoza (second choice) and Blended Stealth can have a say along with Worcester scorer Iron Heart, while it would come as no surprise to see Gordon Elliott's Gino Drummer take a step forward on his handicap debut.
