Kempton Placepot tips: Graeme Rodway's selections for a £50,000 guaranteed pool

Deputy betting editor

The Tote's £50,000 Placepot guarantee is at Kempton on Wednesday and the opening mile handicap (2.18) is a hard starter. Cherry Hill is in form and is included with Sold The Dream.

Division one of the mile maiden (2.50) for fillies comes up next and this might be between Scarlet Princess and Revelance. Both showed promise first time out and represent top stables.

The second division (3.25) is another tricky one. Lady Ridgewood showed plenty of ability on her debut and goes in alongside the nicely bred Godolphin newcomer Romantic Opera

The mile novice (4.00) doesn’t look like a strong race and only two places makes it difficult. Tasdeed has strong form claims and must be included, but Patch's Bond could also go well.

The 7f nursery (4.30) is another where just two places are available so include Valsharah and Up The Pace, while the 7f handicap (5.00) is between Top Secret and Under The Twilight.
