Kempton Placepot tips: Graeme Rodway with his selections for a £50,000 guaranteed pool

In-form trainers catch the eye for Wednesday perm

Deputy betting editor

The Tote’s £50,000 guarantee for the Placepot moves on to Kempton on Wednesday evening and the mile fillies’ novice (4.10) doesn’t look a strong race judging on the form available. Ralph Beckett’s newcomer Lesson Of Life must go in along with Ribenska.

Beckett has another solid contender in the mile novice (4.40) with the well-bred debutant Invincible Duke. He should be included with the horse who has the best form in Molveno

The mile nursery (5.10) comes up next and Tempted might be capable of taking a big step forward for red-hot trainer Ollie Sangster. It’s also worth including Godolphin’s Wild Nature.

Jenubiyah is from the family of top-class racemare Taghrooda and could make a winning debut in division one of the 7f novice (5.40), while Jolly Roger can win division two (6.10).

The 7f handicap (6.40) is the final leg and it’s an open race. Ultramarine is consistent and must be included for in-form David Evans, while Stanley Spencer looks a solid alternative.
