Harry Wilson struck with 9-1, 7-2 and two 5-2 winners in his last column - find out his ITV Boxing Day tips

Harry Wilson struck with Jungle Boogie (7-2), Crambo (9-1), Milldam (5-2) and Victtorino (5-2) in his last column and returns with his advice for all six races at Kempton on Boxing Day – plus the two ITV contests at Aintree and Wetherby . . .

Harry's tip: Leader In The Park

I’m convinced Leader In The Park is well handicapped and I’m going to afford him another chance after disappointing at Cheltenham last time. He jumped well and travelled sweetly for a long way before weakening that day and probably just needed the run, while less of an emphasis on stamina is a plus in this. A lightly raced six-year-old, he won a point-to-point by 56 lengths in February last year and is a half-brother to dual Grade 1-winning chaser Benefficient, so it would be disappointing should he not prove better than a mark of 121.

William Hill Formby Novices' Hurdle (Grade 1), 2m1f

Harry's tip: Good And Clever

The form standout is Potters Charm, but I’m not sure this trip will suit, while the others are much of a muchness, headed by Celtic Dino and Roadlesstravelled, who is closely matched with Country Mile. I’ll chance Good And Clever, who was a good third in the Grade 2 bumper at Aintree behind Horaces Pearl, form that looks very strong, with the winner, second, fourth (three times including Grade 2), fifth (twice), sixth, plus a few others further down the field, all winning since, and he was unlucky to bump into Regent’s Stroll on his hurdling debut. He will come on for that run and is being disrespected in the market.

Ladbrokes Kauto Star Novices' Chase (Grade 1), 3m

Harry's tip: The Jukebox Man

The Jukebox Man was a big improver over hurdles, following his close Challow third behind Captain Teague with a narrow defeat in the Albert Bartlett before finishing second in the Sefton Novices' Hurdle at Aintree, but always looked as if he'd be a better chaser, having beaten the useful Cleatus Poolaw by six lengths in his sole point. He made an instant impact over fences when making most in the Grade 2 John Francome at Newbury last month, when his jumping was excellent, and should find even more improvement for returning to staying trips.

1.35 Wetherby
William Hill Rowland Meyrick Handicap Chase, 3m

Harry's tip: Cruz Control

Tahmuras jumped well before tiring on his return last month, when probably in need of the run, and looks handicapped to go well on the pick of his form, but I'm siding with Cruz Control, who was progressive over fences last season. He followed up a comfortable Newcastle win with victory at Aintree’s Grand National meeting before running a fine race when fourth in a Listed event at Punchestown. He was given a pipe-opener over hurdles in October and should have more to come back over fences this season.

Ladbrokes Christmas Hurdle (Grade 1), 2m

Harry's tip: Constitution Hill

I didn’t think we’d ever see the day Constitution Hill was odds against again. He is unbeaten in eight and has form that is miles above anything achieved by his rivals – even last year's victory that was given an RPR of 158 (19lb shy of his best) is better than what Lossiemouth has recorded. He’s been off for a while, but Nicky Henderson is clearly happy with him and that’s good enough for me. Lossiemouth is race-fit, but she has produced her best over 2m4f and will need to improve again, even in receipt of 7lb. I can't wait for Constitution Hill to prove all his doubters wrong.

Ladbrokes King George VI Chase (Grade 1), 3m

Harry's tip: Banbridge

Spillane’s Tower and Grey Dawning made excellent starts to their second season over fences, with the former going close in a red-hot John Durkan and the latter finishing second to a Haydock specialist in the Betfair Chase. They warrant respect but may find the ground too quick, unlike Banbridge, who will relish conditions. He pulled clear of the field with Energumene in the Hilly Way last time and may have beaten that rival, despite conceding 10lb, before coming down at the last. He's capable of Grade 1 form over 2m, while a strong stayer at 2m4f, and could have untapped potential over this trip.

Ladbrokes "Gaffer Of All Accas" Maiden Hurdle, 2m

Harry's tip: Nap Hand

Rascallion ran a good race when second to one who has since followed up at Ludlow on his hurdling debut and natural progress should see him go well, but it's not a daunting standard and Kientzheim and Nap Hand have the potential to do much better. The former, a dual winner in French AQPS races, is a relative of Champion Hurdle winner Epatante and will likely go well, but she's likely going to be a short price and I'll take her on with the latter. He is rated 86 on the Flat and raced in that sphere as recently as last month, so should be fit, while he's likely been well schooled ahead of this assignment.

Ladbrokes Get Rewarded With Ladbucks Handicap Hurdle, 2m5f

Harry's tip: East India Express

Last year's winner Mahons Glory is far too big, considering he's just 3lb higher this time when taking Dylan Johnston's valuable claim into account and has the headgear reapplied. He's the each-way play, but you'd be disappointed if East India Express wasn't able to follow up off the same mark as for Saturday's success at Ascot. He travelled smoothly and found plenty to beat a rival who was bidding for a seven-timer and this five-year-old, who landed a course-and-distance novice hurdle last year, should rate plenty higher still.
