BetGoodwin Master Trainer Chris Gordon Novices' Limited Handicap Chase, 2m3½f
Harry's tip: Lord Of Thunder
Mark Of Gold benefited from Personal Ambition's mistake at the last to win a Grade 2 at Ascot last month, but that was his chasing debut and he jumped soundly, so he's sure to go well again. He couldn't win a handicap hurdle here under a 7lb claimer off a 2lb lower mark in November, though, and might struggle to give 15lb to the well regarded Lord Of Thunder. He has to be forgiven his latest effort, but he's jumped well on the whole in his two chase starts and the first-time tongue-tie should allow him to finish his race off better than last time. He goes in soft ground and retains plenty of potential.

Harry's tip: Risk It All
Morning Air won with something to spare on her hurdling debut and warrants respect under a penalty, but preference is for Risk It All, who can build on last month's promising debut. He was well found in the market that day, but 2m on quick ground proved too sharp and is sure to improve a lot for the run, especially with the softer conditions in his favour.

BetGoodwin Alan King EBF "National Hunt" Novices' Hurdle, 2m4½f
Harry's tip: The Bluesman
Flagged as a potential dark horse by Paul Nicholls in his stable tour, The Bluesman stepped up on his bumper form when taking a Chepstow maiden in November, despite showing obvious signs of greenness and jumping untidily at times. He's sure to take a step forward for that and looks a scopey sort who should continue to progress this season.

BetGoodwin Sussex Stayers' Handicap Hurdle, 3m1f
Harry's tip: Transmission
Monmiral is the class act, having chased home Strong Leader in the Long Distance Hurdle last time, and may be able to give the weight away, but last year's winner Transmission is preferred. He's done well since switching to fences, winning a Cheltenham handicap before chasing home a progressive one there next time, and still looks to have scope to improve off this mark now back over hurdles. He's 2-2 over course and distance and can benefit from Freddie Mitchell's 5lb claim.

BetGoodwin Sussex National Handicap Chase, 3m4½f
Harry's tip: Dom Of Mary
Unanswered Prayers has done well over this sort of trip lately, landing the Southern National at Fontwell before a fine third in the London equivalent at Sandown last month. The forecast rain probably isn't in his favour, though, and a chance is taken on last year's winner Dom Of Mary bouncing back after being pulled up on his reappearance. He was missing cheekpieces that day, which he's worn for his last three wins, including his ten-length romp in this last year. That headgear returns today and a 7lb higher mark than last year won't stop him if he's back on form.
3.15 Plumpton
BetGoodwin Super Tommy Cannon Handicap Chase, 2m3½f
Harry's tip: Alto Alto
Alto Alto has very uninspiring recent form figures, but he's achieved all four of his wins at Plumpton and a return here, plus getting back on soft ground, make him a tempting proposition. He won the last time he was fitted with new headgear, so the first-time visor looks interesting, and he's now 3lb below his last winning mark, even before the useful Freddie Gordon's 3lb claim is taken into account.
3.50 Plumpton
Zoe Davison Memorial Handicap Hurdle, 2m
Harry's tip: Snapius
Snapius didn't show a great deal in four Flat starts after joining James Owen from Ireland but has found his form over hurdles since being dropped to two miles the last two times, going down by three-quarters of a length in the mud at Leicester before winning at Lingfield last month. He pulled clear of the third with the runner-up that day, winning with a bit in hand, and could be underestimated by a 5lb rise.
