Harry Wilson struck with 16-5 and 5-2 winners in his last column - find out his tips for every race at Newmarket on Friday

Harry Wilson found 16-5 and 5-2 winners in his last column and is back with his advice for every race at Newmarket on Friday . . .

Harry's tip: Sirona

Sirona has looked much improved for David Menuisier, posting progressive RPRs in her first three starts this year, and although she has not been able to replicate the level of her fifth in the Falmouth in two starts since, she went mightily close dropped into this class last time. The form of her last race has been franked by the winner and conditions should be ideal given her last victory came on soft ground, while the booking of Ryan Moore for the first time is eyecatching.

2.25 Newmarket
Princess Royal Al Basti Equiworld, Dubai Stakes (Group 3), 1m4f

Harry's tip: Sea Of Roses

Time Lock is the one to beat, but she is at her best on a sounder surface and it is worth taking her on with Sea Of Roses, who produced a career best when landing a Listed race on soft ground at Windsor last month. That form looks pretty solid, with runner-up Deira Mile beaten a little less than two lengths in the St Leger and the fourth going down narrowly in a Listed race since, and she'll be much better suited to conditions than most.

3.35 Newmarket
Al Basti Equiworld, Dubai Joel Stakes (Group 2), 1m

Harry's tip: Poker Face

Poker Face won the Group 2 Prix Daniel Wildenstein this time last year and equalled that career-best RPR of 118 when trying to give subsequent Group 1 winner Charyn 3lb in the bet365 Mile at Sandown in April, two efforts that make him a standout in this contest. He's at his best with ease underfoot, so his recent fourth in Ireland can be upgraded, and he should have no problem in reversing Celebration Mile form with Ice Max on 5lb better terms here.

4.10 Newmarket
Al Basti Equiworld, Dubai British EBF "Confined" Maiden Stakes, 7f

Harry's tip: Frankini

Secret Theory, a half-brother to Group 1 winners Mysterious Night and Althiqa, looks a noteworthy newcomer, but Frankini caught the eye on his debut at Ascot and put that experience to good use. A 400,000gns Frankel colt, he had to weave in and out in search for a run and kept on well to be beaten just two lengths. He's proven with cut in the ground and should take a step forward here.

4.45 Newmarket
Al Basti Equiworld, Dubai Godolphin Stakes (Listed), 1m4f

Harry's tip: Military Academy

Aimeric usually runs his race and sets the standard, but Military Academy has looked potentially special and could prove to be a lot better than this level. He stayed on very well to beat The Reverend – who has since hacked up in an Ascot handicap – on his debut at Hamilton and backed that up when defying a penalty with a six-length rout at Salisbury two weeks ago. The third that day had shown useful form in finishing two lengths behind 2,000 Guineas winner Notable Speech on his penultimate start. Military Academy is a half-brother to Commissioning, who won a Group 2 and the Fillies' Mile at two for the Gosdens, and could have plenty more to offer.

5.20 Newmarket
Al Basti Equiworld, Dubai Handicap, 1m1f

Harry's tip: First Officer

This race could cut up with a few of these having been previously taken out on soft ground before, but one who will relish conditions is First Officer, whose form figures on ground softer than good read 12440215. He was back on soft ground for the first time since his win in April, when giving it a good go from the front at Chester last time, and is effectively 5lb lower when factoring in the jockey's 7lb claim. He's run well on all three visits to this course and could be underestimated in the market.
