Harry Wilson fired in three winners in his last column - find out his tips for all ten races live on ITV on Saturday

Harry Wilson had three winners in his last column and is back with his advice for all ten races live on ITV from Ascot, Wetherby and Down Royal on Saturday . . .

1.15 Wetherby
Bet Boost At bet365 Handicap Chase, 2m3½f

Harry's tip: Choosethenews

Choosethenews goes well fresh and returns just 2lb higher than when chasing home a subsequent winner at Hexham in May. He was unlucky to win just once last season, as he ran into subsequent Brown Advisory third Giovinco on his reappearance before finishing third in a race that has worked out well at Carlisle in March – the winner, second and fourth (twice) all followed up next time. There should be more to come this term.

1.30 Ascot
Ascot Underwriting Novices' Limited Handicap Chase, 2m3f

Harry's tip: Leader In The Park

Leader In The Park looks well handicapped on the pick of his hurdles form, notably splitting 132-rated and 129-rated rivals at Ascot last November, and looks the most obvious of these to improve over fences given he won a point-to-point by 56 lengths in February last year. He was an expensive purchase after that point success and can cash in on a lenient mark here.

1.50 Wetherby
bet365 Mares' Hurdle (Listed), 2m

Harry's tip: Luccia

Luccia is in a class of her own in this field and 4lb penalty shouldn't stop her winning comfortably. She was a beaten favourite in this 12 months ago but is a better horse now and this is a much weaker running – she's 12lb clear of her nearest rival on official ratings. She may be seen to even better effect on this sounder surface.

2.05 Ascot
Byrne Group Handicap Chase, 2m1f

Harry's tip: Frere D'Armes

Frere D'Armes was beaten just half a length by Boothill over course and distance last November and looks well handicapped off a mark 5lb lower. He ran course specialist Bourbali to a length at Kempton when last seen and loves good ground, so conditions should be ideal. He's 3lb out of the weights, but capable 7lb claimer Heidi Palin is enlisted and a big run looks on the cards.

2.22 Wetherby bet365 Hurdle (Grade 2), 3m

Harry's tip: Sandor Clegane

Sandor Clegane didn't improve as much as expected over fences but still managed to finish fourth in a couple of Grade 1s at the back end of last season and may prove more of a threat now returned to hurdles. He finished a close third behind Stay Away Fay in the Albert Bartlett before winning an auction hurdle at Punchestown when last seen in this sphere. He will be a player if at the top of his game on his reappearance.

2.40 Down Royal
Ladbrokes Champion Chase (Grade 1), 3m

Harry's tip: Hewick

Gerri Colombe is too short for me. He won this by only a neck in his favoured soft conditions last year, and this quicker ground won't suit him as well, so he may have to give second best to the race-fit Hewick. He gave a good account of himself when trying to give weight all round at Punchestown last time and is sure to strip fitter for the run.

2.58 Wetherby
bet365 Charlie Hall Chase (Grade 2), 3m

Harry's tip: Bravemansgame

I don't think you can fully trust any of them, but Bravemansgame's task was made easier with Grey Dawning's defection and Paul Nicholls' nine-year-old looks the most solid. He won this in 2022 and might have followed up last year but for a mistake at the last. He's had wind surgery since making a respiratory noise when last seen and might not even need to be at his best to win this.

3.15 Ascot
Lavazza Handicap Hurdle, 1m7½f

Harry's tip: Rightsotom

The Joe Tizzard-trained Rightsotom is intriguing on his stable debut. He hasn't been seen for 546 days, but he showed good form when trained in Ireland, chasing home the now 152-rated Zarak The Brave and romping home by eight and a half lengths in a maiden hurdle either side of two runs in Grade 1 races. He could be seriously underestimated by his opening mark of 126.

3.32 Wetherby
Never Ordinary At bet365 Handicap Hurdle, 2m

Harry's tip: Salsada

I've been banging on about Salsada winning a handicap since she blew her mark to bits when chasing home Epatante in a Grade 2 at Doncaster in January last year. I've been proven wrong so far, but the booking of Harry Cobden hints that may be about to change. She's now 3lb below the mark she had before that career-best effort, and went down by just a short head at Hexham last month. She was ridden far more prominently that day than previously and has the right man on board to repeat those tactics.

3.45 Ascot
Sodexo Live! Gold Cup Handicap Chase, 3m

Harry's tip: Highstakesplayer

Highstakesplayer has won four of his five chase starts, with his sole defeat coming the only time he went left-handed, and he returned from a short break to win at Kempton when last seen in April. He was value for more than the half-length margin suggests and a 5lb rise might not be enough to halt his improvement, especially as he goes well fresh.
