Friday's racing tips: six horses to consider putting in your multiple bets . . .

Eyecatcher

Glittering Legend (1.33 Doncaster)

The form of his maiden win has worked out well and he was unlucky not to finish closer at Epsom last time. This galloping track promises to suit and James Fanshawe's stable is in good form.

The Punt nap

Matata (2.25 Cheltenham)

Fourth over course and distance in last season's Arkle and can provide Daryl Jacob with a Cheltenham winner in his final season in the saddle.

Handicappers' nap

Aucunrisque (4.45 Cheltenham)

It was an encouraging return at Plumpton last month and Chris Gordon’s horses have been shaping as if they have needed their first start. If anywhere near the form he was in two seasons back, he will be hard to beat. The trainer won the race last year and Aucunrisque has taken the same route to get here this season.

Speed figures

Calico (2.25 Cheltenham)

He ended a shade disappointing last season, but if repeating the figure of last term's reappearance over course and distance, will take a lot of beating at these weights.

West Country

Fiercely Proud (4.45 Cheltenham)

Has some excellent novice form, including on good ground, and victory can boost his Greatwood claims next month.

Dark horse

Triple Trade (2.25 Cheltenham)

Was second in this race last year before coming back to Cheltenham to win at the November meeting. Was not disgraced in the Grand Annual at the festival and was fifth in the Red Rum at Aintree, both efforts on ground that didn't suit. Should go well and the yard has started the autumn campaign well.
