Friday's free racing tips: six horses to consider putting in your multiple bets
Friday's best bets ranked in order of confidence by our top tipsters . . .
Handicappers' nap
Filibustering (4.00 Haydock)
Easy nine-length winner on soft ground in May and has performed with credit in better company since for Tim Easterby. Better than the bare form of his staying-on fifth in a stronger race over course and distance three weeks ago and the return to a testing surface will suit.
Paul Curtis
Eyecatcher
Apostle (8.30 Wolverhampton)
Sir Mark Prescott's filly found one too good at Salisbury last time but had won well at Chelmsford the time before and this return to the all-weather looks a positive.
Steffan Edwards
The Punt nap
Thunder Roar (5.10 Haydock)
Has form figures on soft ground or worse of 2131123 and is just 2lb higher than when an unlucky second in the Spring Mile in April. Has won after a similar break and can get back on track under Tom Eaves.
Harry Wilson
Newmarket nap
Prague (3.35 Newmarket)
Enjoyed some match practice on the neighbouring watered gallop a week ago and expected to enjoy any ease in the ground.
David Milnes
Speed figures
Lead Artist (3.35 Newmarket)
Favourite but unable to match strides with Kinross at Doncaster last time. Lightly raced and progressive colt can strike this time.
Dave Edwards
Dark horse
Gloucestershire (5.20 Newmarket)
Shaped well at this track on his only start this year. Has a good record fresh and remains lightly raced for his age.
