Friday's free racing tips: six horses to consider putting in your multiple bets

Friday's best bets ranked in order of confidence by our top tipsters . . .

Handicappers' nap

South Parade (5.55 Doncaster)

This Richard Fahey-trained filly has found a jolt of improvement in her last two starts, finishing just behind a dual subsequent winner when a close up third at Newcastle last time. Fairly treated off just 1lb higher and looks open to further progress.

Jky: Tommie Jakes (5lb)Tnr: Richard Fahey

Eyecatcher

Up The Pace (4.25 Salisbury)

Has shown potential for nurseries in his qualifying runs, finishing behind two next-time-out winners at Kempton, and can deliver for first-season trainer Edward Smyth-Osbourne.
Richard Lowther

The Punt nap

Magnum Force (3.00 Doncaster)

The Ger Lyons-trained juvenile arguably would have won the Roses Stakes at the Ebor meeting last time with a clear run and can reverse the form with Tropical Storm in this Group 2.

Newmarket nap

Celeborn (3.15 Salisbury)

Looked as if this trip over a mile was on connections' radar when he won over 7f on his debut at Leicester in June and has since worked nicely on the watered gallop for George Boughey.

Speed figures

Ain't Nobody (3.00 Doncaster)

Ran as if something was amiss when last seen in the July Stakes, but looked a useful juvenile when winning the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot in a cracking time. If back to his best, he will take some stopping.

Dark horse

Handcuffed (3.55 Salisbury)

Highly promising debut victory at Newbury was followed by a disappointing performance when raised to Group 3 level at Ascot. Travelled as well as anything until inexperience told on first try in competitive York handicap. Still has the potential to develop into a useful performer and no surprise were she to take another step forward.
