Almodovar Del Rio is on a tempting mark and may be underestimated in the 7f handicap (5.30). Warren Fentiman is value for his 7lb claim and this horse has a good record when fresh.
Volcanic Dancer was too green on her debut over 7f and better is expected down in distance for the 6f fillies' novice (6.00). She is by Pinatubo and out of a Stewards' Cup winner, so sprinting looks the way to go.
An extra furlong can see Admirable Lad to better effect in the 6f classified race (6.30). He was a fast finisher after missing the break over 5f at Wolverhampton last time and his last victory came over this course and distance.
A drop in class and trip combined with a return to Chelmsford can do the trick for Rebel Path in the 5f handicap (7.00). He shaped better than the result when a beaten favourite at Wolverhampton recently.
Kameko Spirit has a solid shout in the next (7.30). Her recent Lingfield third after 107 days away should have brought her forward.
Urban Sprawl, who has been running well in better races this year, gives the impression middle distances are worth exploring. The 1m2f handicap (8.00) could be his for the taking.
