Chelmsford Placepot tips: Robbie Wilders' selections for the £50,000 guarantee

A 1m2f handicap (4.10) kicks off the Placepot at Chelmsford and Star Pupil is interesting in first-time cheekpieces. Ocean Odyssey's tendency to pull hard is a worry over this longer distance but he looks well handicapped and also goes in.

Jolly Jack Tar created a decent impression when landing a maiden at Lingfield in February and has the form to go close under a penalty in the 1m2f novice (4.40).

There are loads with chances in the 5f handicap (5.10). Acklam Express, Due For Luck and Existent have operated in higher grades in the past, and it could click for any of them soon.

William Walton could be chucked in on his handicap debut in the next (5.40). He is impeccably bred and caught the eye running on strongly over shorter last month.

Gaiety Musical drops in trip and class for the 6f handicap (6.10) and gives the impression she is capable of better as a sprinter, while Asadjumeirah won't be far away if reproducing the level of his two recent efforts.

Stuart Williams has a strong hand in the final leg (6.40) with Where's Freddy and Lord Rapscallion, who landed this two seasons ago off 8lb higher.
