Chelmsford Placepot tips: James Hill's picks for the £50,000 guaranteed pool
The opening fillies' novice is a six-runner affair and it would be a surprise if Biniorella Bay was out of the first two. She's made the frame in Group company the last twice, while her family has had success on synthetic surfaces.
In leg two, the 2m handicap, the first two home for the last two years have been drawn three and four and I'm happy to go with those stalls again. Easter Icon comes here off the back of a win over hurdles and has a good all-weather record, while Taxiing's course form reads 214 and she's 2lb below her winning mark.
If Telford repeats her course-and-distance effort when winning last time, I find it hard to see her finishing out of the three in the nursery. She's up 6lb, but Sean Dylan Bowen takes off 3lb.
In the 7f maiden, Dancing Magic is as much as 13lb clear on Racing Post Ratings. However, it's 16 goes now without a win and with the yard out of form, I'll also include Jumeirah Sea.
In the penultimate leg, Bowen will be back on Pinball Wizard, who won well at Wolverhampton last time. He goes in along with Ten Commitments, who has dropped 1lb below his winning mark.
We're taking a chance with First Encounter in the final leg following two poor efforts. Joe Leavy taking off 3lb is a decent booking, though, with the three-year-old back to a winning mark. Topweight Bakersboy is well drawn in five and also included.
