Charlton's lightly raced Herculean can make impact on handicap debut
Newmarket: Anthony Burke
Franz Kafka (2.15 Newbury, nap)
Posted a very promising effort on debut at Newmarket a few weeks back. With normal improvement expected he can open his account here.

Lambourn: Nick Deacon
Korcho (1.20 Doncaster)
Lightly raced and showed he was improving when stepping up on his three previous outings to land a competitive nursery at Kempton on his latest start. The three behind him that day have all won since, and he should be able to overcome the inevitable hike in his handicap mark.
Others to follow
Cheltenham: 3.10 Melody Of Scotland, 3.45 Lil Rockerfeller, 5.30 Malachite.
Doncaster: 2.25 Nubough, 4.45 Herculean.

Kempton: 7.15 Verve.
North: Richard Young
Noah And The Ark (5.30 Cheltenham, nap)
Created a good impression when winning novice events on a sound surface at Stratford and Kelso and is unbeaten under Harrison Beswick. Has conditions to suit, is open to plenty of improvement and fancied to go well on handicap debut.

Bang On Frankie (4.20 Cheltenham, nap)
Has his first run for Nicky Martin and can build on the promise he has already shown as long as conditions are not too quick
Others to follow
Cheltenham: 2.00 Sizing Cusimano, 2.35 Storm Home, 3.10 Christmas In April, 4.55 Sporting Boy, 5.30 Majestic Touch.
Topspeed: Dave Edwards
Herculean (4.45 Doncaster)
Lightly raced and progressive, Roger Charlton's son of Frankel can concede weight all round on his first venture into handicaps.
Racing Post Ratings: Steve Mason
Diakali (2.35 Cheltenham, nap)
Formerly a high-class hurdler for Willie Mullins, he impressed when making all to score twice over fences on his belated switch to chasing for his new yard and will be tough to beat if in similar form after a break.
Longshot: Olly Eden
Redgrave (4:00 Newbury)
Joseph Tuite's yard have been among the winners and this gelding has posted two creditable efforts in defeat recently when well-backed, and the form of his latest sixth has worked out well. The soft underfoot conditions should play to his strengths and he can run well at a price with trip and track to suit.
Ireland: Tony O'Hehir
Clare Island (8.30 Dundalk)
Eddie Lynam's four-year-old produced her best effort of the season when beaten half a length over the course and trip on her most recent start in August. She gets the vote to score under Oisin Orr.
