A 1/50th share in exciting young sire Persian King sold to Broadhurst Agency for €140,000 at Auctav's Winter Breeding Sale on Wednesday. 

Based at Haras d’Etreham, the Poule d'Essai des Poulains-winning son of Kingman has sired 16 individual winners from his first crop. Among them are Cap Saint Martin and Yoga Master, the former a promising Curragh maiden scorer for Joseph O'Brien in October. 

Persian King's progeny sold for up to 600,00gns this year, while he will be standing for a fee of €25,000 in 2025. 

B&R Consulting went to €50,000 for a a 1/48th share in Nirvana Du Berlais, a Grade 1-winning son of Martaline who stands at Haras de la Hetraie for €6,500. The Prix Cambaceres winner's first crop are three-year-olds this year. 

Pierre Boulard secured a share in Beaumec De Houelle for €31,000. The son of Martaline has gained attention through his daughters’ recent performances in Europe, notably Mamisuz De Houelle, a Grade 2 hurdle winner at Auteuil, as well as La Marquise and La Pinsonniere. 

A private transaction was concluded shortly after the sale, with a share in the outstanding Siyouni selling for€400,000.
