Landikusic, a winning sister to Zoffany and pregnant to Frankel, has been announced as the first entry for this year's Goffs London Sale.

The five-year-old daughter of Dansili is also a half-sister to Group 2 Futurity Stakes winner and Group 1-placed Rostropovich.

Henry Beeby, group chief executive of Goffs, said: "Landikusic has a blue-chip pedigree and together with her Frankel covering is worthy of significant global interest.

"I saw her at the National Stud in Newmarket and she is a most attractive prospect. Indeed, one of the best advertisements for the mare is her beautiful Galileo foal who would give any purchaser great confidence that her future produce will have Classic potential."

Jason Litt of Solis Litt Bloodstock, on behalf of the owners, added: "LNJ Foxwoods is honoured to partner with Goffs, Qipco, GBRI and the National Stud in offering Landikusic. Frankel and Zoffany were both tremendous Ascot performers making the Goffs London Sale a natural fit for this regally bred mare."

Frankel fever lit up the inaugural London Sale in 2014 as a mare in foal to the dual world champion, with a foal by him at foot, sold for £1.15 million. The same sale saw a top price of £1.3m for Cappella Sansevero, who finished a close second in the Coventry Stakes the following day.

The 2016 renewal was topped by Irish 1,000 Guineas winner Jet Setting who also sold for £1.3 million, while last year the Classic-placed Lockheed topped the sale when bought for £900,000 to go to Hong Kong.

Other graduates of the sale include Australian Group 1 winner Pornichet, Classic winner Harbour Law and Saudi Arabian Group 1 winner Smoking Sun, as well as stakes winners such as Madam Dancealot, Mirage and Realtra.

The fifth renewal of the Goffs London Sale will once again take place on the eve of Royal Ascot on Monday, June 18.

This year's sale will take place at a new location, albeit at the same address, on the greenfield Perks Field site adjacent to Kensington Palace while renovations take place at The Orangery.
