Listed Burradon Stakes winner Cuban Tiger topped trade for the Tattersalls Online November Sale when selling to Saudi Arabian buyer FMQ Stables for 72,000gns.
The son of Havana Grey had sported Sheikh Mohammed Obaid's silks to two victories on the all-weather, starting with his debut at Southwell in January. He then landed black-type success at Newcastle on his third start, having run subsequent 2,000 Guineas and Sussex Stakes winner Notable Speech to a length at Kempton the time before.
Trained by Karl Burke, the three-year-old was last seen finishing third at Kempton and has a current official rating of 94.
Another to sport the Mohammed Obaid colours is Imperial Sovereign, who will now race for Phil Kirby after selling for 49,000gns from Burke's yard.

The Frankel gelding, out of a Group 1-placed Dubawi daughter of the great Reem Three, was a winner on debut at Newcastle last December and has run creditably in some good contests since, including when sixth in the Queen's Vase at Royal Ascot.
Last year's Prix Maurice de Gheest winner King Gold was bought back by trainer Nicolas Caullery for 180,000gns. The sale saw turnover of 602,300gns for 77 lots sold, at an average price of 7,822gns. Over 330 bidders registered for the sale from over 20 countries including America, Belgium, Britain, France, Ireland, India, Italy, Germany, Serbia, Sweden, The Netherlands, and from the Gulf region.
Tattersalls Online sales manager Katherine Sheridan said after the sale@ "We witnessed a record number of entries this month and the continued growth of our Tattersalls Online monthly sales reflects the trust and confidence of our vendors, for which we are very grateful. The catalogue received strong support from England, Ireland and France and attracted a diverse collection of buyers both domestically and internationally.
"The top-priced lot, as well as many others in the sale, being purchased for international connections highlights the unique reach of Tattersalls Online in this market. We now look forward to the Tattersalls Online December Sale which will feature the highly anticipated southern hemisphere session."
