Horses in and out of training and a nap hand of broodmares comprise the Tattersalls September Sale, which starts at 10am at Park Paddocks on Tuesday.

Before withdrawals, the catalogue numbered 240 lots plus two wildcards.

There are consignments from many of Britain’s leading trainers, including Andrew Balding, William Haggas, Richard Hannon and Sir Michael Stoute, as well as lots offered on behalf of John and Thady Gosden and Roger Varian.

Among the highlights are the highly progressive four-year-old God Of Fire (lot 71), who will be offered by Baroda Stud on behalf of Kübler Racing.

The four-year-old son of Muhaarar hit a Racing Post Rating high of 94 after bringing up a hat-trick at Windsor in July, and while his victory charge came to a halt at the same track last month, he again ran well to be second, beaten just half a length.

Baroda Stud will also offer the promising three-year-old colt Debora’s Dream (134), a dual winner in July and a decent third in a better race at Ripon last month.

The Varian-trained son of Sioux Nation’s two wins were both over a mile and he is from the family of multiple Group 1 winner Holy Roman Emperor.

The David Simcock-trained five-year-old Mountain Road (110) was allotted an RPR of 95 for both of his victories in the summer, at Newmarket and Chelmsford, and the strong stayer from Trillium Place will be followed into the ring by Listed-placed year-younger stablemate Mascapone (111).

Among the fillies catalogued with smart form is the unexposed Vain Gloria (163), the winner of two of her three starts and who will be offered by Jamie Railton.

Promising two-year-olds catalogued include Ayr winner Zabeel Road (175), who will be offered by Charlie Johnston’s Kingsley Park on behalf of Rabbah Bloodstock, and the last-time-out Lingfield winner Desdemona (217). The daughter of Showcasing will be offered by Barton Sales on behalf of Tom Clover Racing,

Dullingham Park offers a couple of two-year-olds with potential, including the Windsor winner and Glorious Goodwood runner-up Storm Call (202).

Baroda Stud is consigning on behalf of Amo Racing and included in the package is five-year-olds Bullet Force (184), a consistent son of Cable Bay who was a winner last time at Pontefract.

The Castlebridge Consignment offers 15 lots after withdrawals, among them the three-year-old Tourist (169), who has won two of his last four starts, the latest at Windsor last month, which earned a career-high RPR of 90.

Haggas’s Somerville Lodge offers one of the wildcards in Mujtaba (150A) on behalf of Shadwell Estate Company. The high-class six-year-old son of Dubawi was second to subsequent Group 2 Hardwicke Stakes winner Isle Of Jura in the Listed Festival Stakes at Goodwood in May, beaten half a length.

The five-time winner was previously beaten just a neck into second by multiple Group winner Point Lonsdale in the Group 2 Huxley Stakes at Chester.

The other wildcard is three-year-old colt Mina Rashid (150B), consigned by Balding’s Kingsclere Stables and winner of a maiden at Chester in May.

The son of Almanzor is out of a sister to the multiple Group winner Lord Admiral and to Lynnwood Chase, the dam of top-class performers Star Catcher and Cannock Chase.
