Grade 1 mares among the 4,145 lots for November Sale
Stellar Wind and Lady Eli just two of the eye-catching lots on offer
A mammoth 4,145-lot catalogue has been assembled for Keeneland's November Breeding Stock Sale, which begins a 12-day run on November 7 and is headlined by several Grade 1 winners, including Stellar Wind and Lady Eli.
Both Stellar Wind and Lady Eli are due to come under the hammer after they complete their respective racing careers at the Breeders' Cup at Del Mar the weekend before the sale.
Last year's Kentucky Oaks heroine Cathryn Sophia and Grade 1 scorer Her Emmynency will be offered in foal to Pionnerof The Nile, while EP Taylor Stakes winner Al's Gal has been covered by Medaglia D'Oro along with Street Fancy, who claimed the Starlet Stakes in 2015.
Among the 4,145 horses catalogued there are 2,036 broodmares and broodmare prospects, 1,682 weanlings, 424 horses of racing age and two stallions.
Bob Elliston, Keeneland vice president of racing and sales, said: "Keeneland's September Yearling Sale ended less than two weeks ago with exciting results and momentum for the November Sale.
"The November Sale's myraid of offerings that includes proven producers and exciting young mares, well-bred weanlings and talented horses of racing age make it an important destination for buyers from across North America and internationally."
