The Goffs Autumn Sale kicks off at 11am on Tuesday, with around 100 or so horses in training set to come under the hammer before yearlings take to the ring over the course of two and a half days.

The Horses In Training catalogue features drafts from many well-known establishments, headed by the Aga Khan Studs.

Their consignment is nine-strong and features improving three-year-old Masoun (lot 65), who has won his last two starts for the Johnny Murtagh yard, the latest by a length and three-quarters at the Curragh in August.

Ridhaz (64), also three, carried the famous green and red silks to victory in a handicap at Dundalk in September on his most recent outing for Mick Halford and Tracy Collins.

Godolphin, Willie McCreery’s Rathbride Stables, Gavin Cromwell Racing and Conyngham Lodge Stables are also among those with notable consignments.

The sire profile, meanwhile, includes Blue Point, Dark Angel, Mehmas, Nathaniel, Night Of Thunder, Sea The Stars, Too Darn Hot and Zarak.

Other winners catalogued include the Eric McNamara-trained three-year-old Future Cutlet (52), who got off the mark in a Down Royal maiden on his latest start in September and has been declared for Dundalk on Wednesday, and the Michael O’Callaghan-trained Kodiac three-year-old Do Si Do (62), who scored at just the second time of asking at Naas last month.

Jumpers include Thecompanysergeant (93) from Denis Hogan’s Boherna Stables. The seven-year-old was fourth in the Grade 1 Gold Cup at Fairyhouse at Easter and went on to win a beginners’ chase at the Galway festival.

Five-year-old The Dancing Tree (97) rates another interesting prospect. He won by six lengths in a Limerick bumper on his debut for Cromwell in January and was last month a staying-on sixth at Cheltenham.

Aside from in Ireland and Britain, the sale can boast winning graduates in the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

Recent graduates from the yearling sale are headed by Group 2 winners Birthe and Givemethebeatboys, purchased for €10,000 and €11,000 respectively, while winners of the Italian Derby and Polish 1,000 Guineas are also on the roll of honour.

Many of the yearlings for sale in the second half of Tuesday and across Wednesday and Thursday are eligible for next year’s Goffs Two Million Series, which offers a guaranteed prize fund of €2,000,000 via the Goffs €1 Million Bonus Race Series, which will see 20 bonuses of €50,000 paid to qualified winners of a series of two-year-old maidens in Ireland and Britain, and Europe’s richest juvenile race, the Goffs Million.

The Autumn Sale is also the last opportunity for buyers to secure contenders for Harry’s Half Million by Goffs, with several lots eligible for the £500,000 contest at York.

The supplementary part of the catalogue is on Thursday and among the highlights look to be siblings to California winners and Listed-placed duo Loterie and Countess Rosina, respectively a Starman half-brother (796) consigned by Baroda Stud, and a Dandy Man full-sister (815) offered by Raheendaw Stud.

There is also a Vadamos half-brother to five-time winner and Grade 2-placed hurdler Lunar Power (805), offered through Peter Nolan Bloodstock, and a Cotai Glory colt out of a half-sister to Group 3 winner and Group 1-placed Lily’s Angel (811), consigned by Railstown Stud.

The respective catalogues are here and here.
