World champion Flightline retains $150,000 fee for 2025 at Lane's End
Lane's End has held the stud fee for Flightline, the undefeated son of multiple leading sire Tapit and 2022 Horse of the Year, at $150,000 for 2025.
Flightline's first crop are weanlings this year.
"The much-anticipated Flightline weanlings will be on display in the upcoming November sales, and we've already seen the international demand for his first crop based on his seven-figure sales results in Japan," said Bill Farish of Lane's End.
"We're also looking forward to our Eclipse champions Arcangelo and Up To The Mark's first foals arriving in 2025."
Northern Farm and Grand Stud each sold weanling colts during the Japan Racing Horse Association Select Sale for the equivalent of $1,305,652 apiece.
Northern Farm sold a colt out of multiple Argentina Group 1 winner Tan Gritona, while Grand Stud sold a colt out of the Grade 1 Curlin daughter Grace Adler.
Most of the 2025 fees on the Lane's End stallion roster have held steady from this year.
The farm's prominent sire Quality Road will stand for $150,000, down from $200,000 for this year. The son of Elusive Quality has held his place among the top ten North American sires this year, and his Classic-winning son National Treasure added to his résumé with wins in the Pegasus World Cup Invitational Stakes and Metropolitan Handicap.
Freshman stallion Game Winner is tracking among the top 12 members of his North American sire class. The son of Candy Ride and champion two-year-old colt and Breeders' Cup Juvenile winner of 2018 will be represented in this year's Juvenile at Del Mar on Friday by Gaming, who won the Del Mar Futurity. Game Winner's fee for next year remains at $20,000.
