A winning filly with an attractive pedigree and six exciting horses in training are wildcard entries for the Arqana Summer Sale, which takes place in Deauville next Monday to Wednesday.
The late entries who will go under the hammer in Wednesday's session are:
- Fifth Element, a three-year-old filly by Most Improved who will be offered by Jean-Claude Rouget, who saddled her to win as a two-year-old. She is a half-sister to Listed winner and Secretariat Stakes third Afandem from the family of Group 1 winners Elliptique and Americain (lot 250).
- Mon Ami L'Ecossais, a three-year-old Orpen colt. This progressive sprinter-miler hails from the in-form yard of Stephane Wattel and was last seen running third in the Listed Prix Marchand d'Or after filling the same position in a conditions race behind subsequent Prix Paul de Moussac scorer Wusool (lot 370).
- Dustin Des Mottes, a five-year-old Kapgarde gelding. Leading jumps trainer Francois Nicolle will offer this five-year-old AQPS-bred who boasts three victories over hurdles and won cosily on his chasing debut at Clairefontaine (lot 390).
- Espoir De Guye, a four-year-old Khalkevi gelding from Gaetan Taupin. He shed his maiden tag at the second time of asking over hurdles at Les Sables-d’Olonne, notably beating the useful performer Elisa Des Obeaux (lot 385).
- Enjoy Of Sivola, who ran third over hurdles on his only start to date for the astute handler Emmanuel Clayeux. The four-year-old is by Anzillero out of a half-sister to the top-class jumper Tell No One (lot 405).
- Zen Kaiga, a three-year-old Slickly gelding to be offered by Gabriel Leenders. He was third in the Prix Frascati at Auteuil last time out (lot 410).
- Fanzio, a three-year-old AQPS gelding who was placed on both his starts to date, both in bumper company, for Bertrand Lefevre (lot 415).
