Who bought what at a busy edition of the Goffs UK Spring Store Sale
It wasn't all about the joint sale-toppers at the Goffs UK Spring Store Sale on Tuesday. Here is a run down of the day's other noteworthy sales.
Lot 99
Br g Noroit - Visiorienne (Visionary)
Consigned by Liss House Stud
Bought by Aiden Murphy and Kim Bailey for £62,000
"He's been bought for Kim Bailey, but still needs an owner," said Murphy. "He's just a gorgeous horse and has the scope to jump fences in time. I don't have much experience with the stallion's progeny, but he's a son of Monsun, which is a big plus, and he must have every chance."
Lot 109
B g Kayf Tara - Aeronautica
Consigned by Dauntsey Park
Bought by Fergal O'Brien Racing for £62,000
"He's a lovely, correct horse and was high on the list," said O'Brien. "He's been bought for an existing owner in the yard. I think he could be fairly forward, he was as sparky when we went to view him at 7.30am as he was as 12 o'clock, and that has to be a good sign."
Lot 121
B/br f Getaway - Another Evening (Saddler's Hall)
Consigned by Ballincurrig House Stud on behalf of Sandra Mayoh
Bought by Highflyer Bloodstock and Nicky Henderson for £62,000
"I didn't even examine her before she came into the ring, but when I saw her in there she walked in and just owned the place," Mayoh recalled of her £9,000 foal pinhook. "She went straight to Michael's [Moore, Ballincurrig House Stud] and we've been watching her grow into something quite spectacular.

"I've been very lucky with that family, we bred Midnight Target who won a Listed mares' chase at Cheltenham. She's the best filly here and the pattern of races we have for mares in this country is a massive thing now."
Lot 49
B g Getaway - Shadow Dearg (Beneficial)
Consigned by Roxborough Stud
Bought by Highflyer Bloodstock for £58,000
"I thought he was one of the nicest horses of the day," said Highflyer's David Minton. "There's five horses on my five-star list and he's one of them. I've been very lucky with Getaways in the past. He's been bought for an owner of Nicky Henderson's."
Lot 217
Ch g Leading Light - Keyaza (Azamour)
Consigned by Trickledown Stud
Bought by Harry Fry Racing for £57,000
"He's a great mover, he really covers the ground and he's got a great step to him," said Fry. "We'll take him home now and sort out an owner for him.
"This has been a good sale to us over the years, we've found plenty of winners here and hopefully he can emulate the horse on the front cover of this year's catalogue [If The Cap Fits]. He's a lovely individual, a real athlete."
Lot 19
B f Kayf Tara - R de Rien Sivola
Consigned by Ballincurrig House Stud on behalf of Coolmara Stables
Bought by Thomas Symonds for £56,000
Lot 28
B g Walk In The Park - Rose Chou (Mangarose)
Consigned by Monamore Stables
Bought by Monbeg Stables for £55,000
"He's a big, good-looking horse and a great mover," said Monbeg Stables' Donnchadh Doyle. "He's by a good sire so hopefully he'll work out - he could be a sales-topper if he can go and win his point-to-point. This is the first horse I've had by Walk In The Park but hopefully he'll be the first of many."
