'Unique opportunity' - Dam of Constitution Hill to be offered on Goffs Online
The sale will take place on May 24 following the Doncaster Spring Sale
Queen Of The Stage, the dam of this season's record-breaking Supreme Novices' Hurdle winner Constitution Hill, will be offered on Goffs Online next month following the Doncaster Spring Sale.
The 12-year-old daughter of King's Theatre will be sold in-foal to Blue Bresil, meaning the resulting foal will be a full-sibling to the dual Grade 1 winner, who is unbeaten in three starts under rules and who sold to Nicky Henderson from Bernice Stables at the Goffs UK Spring Horses in Training Sale for £120,000 last May.
Queen Of The Stage will be offered with a five per cent agent’s commission and will be sold subject to a positive 60-day pregnancy scan.
Goffs UK managing director Tim Kent said: “We are delighted to be offering Queen Of The Stage on our Goffs Online platform and she provides breeders with a unique opportunity to secure a young blue-blooded mare with proven ability to produce racehorses of the very highest calibre.
“Constitution Hill’s 22-length demolition in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle, which he achieved in a track record time, clearly shows he is a horse with a huge future and Queen Of The Stage gives breeders a chance to share in the success of his future endeavours."
He added: "We would like to extend our thanks to her current owners, Phil and Sally Noott, who have chosen Goffs Online to offer her and we are looking forward to her sale on May 24, the week following our Spring Sale.”
More information on Queen Of The Stage, including her pedigree, footage and auction times, will be released closer to the sale on May 24.
