Two further additions complete Tattersalls Online August Sale line-up
Byford and Solfilia up for grabs at this week's auction
Useful broodmare Solfilia and in-form three-year-old Byford are the final names to have been catalogued for this week's Tattersalls Online August Sale.
Solfilia, an 11-year-old mare by Teofilo in foal to Showcasing, will be offered by Salcey Forest Stud. She is the dam of two winners including Bodhicitta (Showcasing), who ran out the victor of the Grade 2 Yellow Ribbon Stakes at Del Mar on Saturday for trainer Richard Baltas.
She was second in the Grade 1 Gamely Stakes at Santa Anita in May this year.
Byford will be offered by Ivan Furtado's Averham Park Stables. By Toronado, he shaped with significant promise on his recent debut at Wolverhampton when second to Al Salt, and showed the benefit of that outing when winning at Pornichet in France last Friday. He is also qualified for French owners' premiums.
Bidding will open at midday on Wednesday and conclude at the same time on Friday. With one withdrawal, the catalogue is currently standing at 15 and includes Aloha Star, who ran a cracker in last weekend's Group 1 Phoenix Stakes.
Ger Lyons' pair of juveniles Amber Kite and Coill Avon are others of interest in the mixed sale, along with Donnacha O'Brien's winning Galileo colt Great House, who was a December foal and expected to appeal to southern hemisphere buyers.
