High-class Trevor Hemmings stars head to Goffs UK September Sale
All 56 horses will be sold without reserve
The dispersal of three-time Grand National-winning owner Trevor Hemmings will take place at the Goffs UK September Horses in Training Sale in Doncaster on September 15-16.
All 56 horses will be sold without reserve and feature some highly talented performers such as the Grade 2 hurdle and multiple chase winner Mount Mews and Grade 3 hurdle winner Stoney Mountain.
Also up for grabs are winning chasers Burbank, Burtons Well, Hill Sixteen, Mystical Clouds and Touch Kick; numerous promising young hurdlers, and unraced stock by sires including Black Sam Bellamy, Cloudings, Fame And Glory and Scorpion.
Hemmings announced that he would be reducing his horse-in-training numbers by around two thirds after the coronavirus pandemic had impacted a number of his businesses and restricted his racecourse attendance.
Goffs UK managing director Tim Kent said: "We're grateful that Mr Hemmings has chosen Goffs UK to offer his dispersal and it will be a big boost to our September Sale.
"His emerald green and yellow quartered silks have been carried to many famous victories over the years and this dispersal will give others the chance to continue that success with some high-class racing prospects to be offered."
Hemmings' iconic colours have become synonymous with the Grand National, with three winners in the shape of Hedgehunter (2005), Ballabriggs (2011) and Many Clouds (2015).
Other big names raced by Hemmings include Ryanair Chase winner Albertas Run, RSA Chase winner Trabolgan and more recently Graded winners such as Cloudy Dream, Katachenko, Lake View Lad, Testify, Vicente and Vintage Clouds.
