'This will be the only outlet in Ireland for them' - Goresbridge announces new point-to-point sale next month
On the back of a strong point-to-point sale in April, Goresbridge Horse Sales have announced the launch of a similar fixture which will take place at the operation's County Kilkenny headquarters on November 28.
Goresbridge returned to the fold after a four-year break from thoroughbred auctions in the spring and the inaugural event received positive feedback from buyers and vendors.
Now, with the support and collaboration of Irish Thoroughbred Marketing as well as some of the handlers, this new date has been added to the calendar.
Goresbridge's Ed Donohoe said: "We were hugely encouraged by the success of our first sale in April. The aim is to have a number of entrants that will have run through October until the time of sale.
"This will be the only outlet in Ireland for them, and will cater for any horses who do not get into the marquee sales as well as those vendors who choose not to travel to the UK."
Enquiries can be made to info@goresbridge.com or 00353 599775145.
