One of the beauties of sales reporting is that you never quite know what will happen or who you’ll bump into. Even so, I was rather caught off guard when a press bench colleague looked out across a seemingly deserted Park Paddocks ring and said: “Is that Mauricio Pochettino?”
It was indeed Mauricio Pochettino and the former Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain manager definitely wasn’t someone I’d expected to show up at Book 1.
