Tattersalls Online October Sale catalogue unveiled with high-class racing and breeding prospects entered
The catalogue for next week's Tattersalls Online October Sale is now online.
Taking place next Thursday and Friday, the sale features 160 lots including 102 horses in and out of training, 30 yearlings, 17 broodmares, four foals, four stores and three point-to-pointers.
James Doyle’s Baltimore Stables consigns the exciting young mare She Is For Me Boys, a winner on debut at Toomebridge earlier this month.The five-year-old daughter of Clovis Du Berlais is a sister to winning hurdler Jane Du Berlais and hails from the family of Queen Mother Champion Chase winner Klairon Davis.
Meanwhile, Ben Haslam’s Castle Hill Stables will offer two black-type performers on behalf of JP McManus in Aramax, a winner of the Fred Winter at the 2020 Cheltenham Festival, and Ciel De Neige, a multiple Graded-placed hurdler and chaser.
Dylan Cunha Racing will consign two lots in the sale, including Zminiature. The son of Territories won the Brocklesby on debut this season and subsequently placed third in the Listed National Stakes at Sandown.
A contingent of 30 yearlings are catalogued by proven stallions including Cotai Glory, Dandy Man and Mehmas. One who catches the eye is a filly by Mohaather out of Group 3 winner Whazzis, already the dam of black-type filly Whim and from the family of Royal Lodge Stakes winner Wimbledon Hawkeye.
Whitsbury Manor Stud consign two mares in foal to resident stallion Sergei Prokofiev including Listed winner Sugar Beat, a granddaughter of Grade 1 winner Malibu Mint, and Country Charm, a half-sister to smart sprinter Rocket Rodney out of a sister to Group 2 winner Mister Cosmi and Group 1-placed Auditorium.
There are four foals on offer by Capri, Expert Eye, Vadamos and Yeats, as well as four stores catalogued by Dartmouth, My Dream Boat, Poet's Word and The Irish Rover.
Bidding begins from 11am on the Thursday, with bidding on the first lot set to close at 11am the day after.
