Siblings to Group 1 winners among Tattersalls December Yearling Sale catalogue
Auction also includes 30 yearlings out of Group and Listed-winning mares
The catalogue for the Tattersalls December Yearling Sale has been released, with full or half-siblings to 41 Group and Listed winners catalogued and nine of the top ten European sires represented, including Dubawi, Frankel, Sea The Stars, Siyouni and Kingman.
Taking place at Park Paddocks on Monday, November 21, the auction features Whatton Manor Stud's Sea The Stars full-sister to Australian Group 1 scorer Fifty Stars (lot 80), Glenvale Stud's Mizzen Mast full-brother to French 1,000 Guineas and Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf winner Flotilla (15), and The Castlebridge Consignment's Tamayuz half-brother to Prix Jean Prat scorer Laws Of Indices (65).
They are joined by Morna McDowall's half-brother to Flying Five Stakes winner Romantic Proposal by the late Mastercraftsman (50), as well as Norris Bloodstock's Magna Grecia half-sister to German Oaks heroine Well Timed (92) and Kirtlington Stud's Sea The Moon half-sister to Sydney Cup scorer Selino (98).
There are also 30 yearlings out of Group and Listed-winning mares, namely The Castlebridge Consignment's Dubawi filly out of 1,000 Guineas heroine Miss France (31) and the National Stud's Time Test colt out of American Grade 1 victress Jostle, already a proven black-type producer.
Shadwell, last year's leading consignor, offers eight very well-bred individuals including the Dubawi colt out of stakes winner and Rockfel Stakes second Fadhayyil (154) - the dam of Group scorer Turaath - as well as fillies by Dark Angel, Frankel, Kingman, Lope De Vega, Sea The Stars and Siyouni.
There is also the added bonus of 16 yearlings being eligible for the £20,000 Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonus Scheme and a further 29 for the £150,000 Tattersalls October Auction Stakes. Another yearling is eligible for the €300,000 Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Stakes.
The sale also features 43 fillies entered for the Great British Bonus and one lot qualified for French owners’ premiums.
