Siblings to Graded winners among Tattersalls Ireland Winter Flat and National Hunt Sale entries

Over 180 lots feature for the Tattersalls Ireland Winter Flat and National Hunt Sale, an event which takes place on Tuesday, January 28. 

Formerly known as the February National Hunt Sale, the sale has produced some smart sorts, with Grade 1 winner Champ Kiely the most notable graduate, while Dan Skelton’s Grade 2 Rising Stars Novices' Chase winner Boombawn was purchased as a yearling in 2018.

Consisting predominantly of National Hunt yearlings and mares, the sale also includes Flat-bred stock to the sale for the first time.

Among the highlights this year is a Poet’s Word filly out of a half-sister to Chianti Classico (Lot 12); Breath Of You, a three-year-old filly by Hello Youmzain and a half-sister to three black-type winners (21); a Mahler sister to Grade 2 winner Shanagh Bob (45); a Walk In The Park colt out of a half-sister to nine-time Grade 1 winner Envoi Allen (58); and a Blue Bresil filly out of a Flemensfirth half-sister to the brilliant Sizing Europe (82).

Other notables include a Crystal Ocean half-brother to Grade 1 winner Relegate (90); a Blue Bresil filly out of a half-sister to the top-class Yorkhill (118); a Blue Bresil colt out of a Walk In The Park half-sister to dual Grade 1 winner Conflated (171); a Blue Bresil colt out of a sister to Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Lord Windermere (172); and Dolly Dancer, a multiple winner by Yeats in foal to Authorized (181).
