Royal Ascot-bound juveniles added to Goffs London Sale mix
Eight promising two-year-olds have been added to the catalogue
Several juveniles with targets at Royal Ascot have been added to the mix for this year's Goffs London Sale, which takes place on the eve of the royal meeting on Monday, June 17, at Kensington Palace Gardens.
The latest entries include the Fozzy Stack-trained Mohican Heights, a well-related Australia colt who booked his ticket for the Chesham Stakes by winning a competitive Leopardstown maiden, and the Requinto filly Daughter In Law, who looks a likely candidate for the Queen Mary after making all to win a 15-runner Curragh maiden on Irish Guineas weekend.
Con Marnane's Bansha House Stables draft is headed by Real Appeal, who shares his sire with the Golden Slipper hero Kiamichi. The Sidestep colt is now two-from-two having landed the Listed Prix la Fleche at Maisons-Laffitte on his most recent start, to put him in contention for the Norfolk Stakes.
Among the other potential Royal Ascot-bound two-year-olds on offer will be David Evans' winner Ivatheengine, a possible runner for Ivawood in the Windsor Castle; Jamie Osborne's Seraphinite, a Gutaifan filly who may be aimed at the Albany; and American Lady, a Starspangledbanner filly with a number of options who ran well in a Group 3 last time out.
The auction will also feature two barrier trial winners from Naas on Wednesday in Tinnahalla, a Starspangledbanner colt from Shamrock Bloodstock, and Kingslayer, a son of Footstepsinthesand who will be consigned by Leamore Horses.
The two previous entries for the sale are Just Sensual, a champion three-year-old filly in South Africa who has been covered by Frankel, and Murasaki, a winning daughter of Ribblesdale Stakes scorer Michita who will be offered in foal to Invincible Spirit.
