Regally bred First Eleven on the move to Haras de la Bareliere from Spain

First Eleven, a regally bred Frankel half-brother to Kingman, is on the move and will stand at Haras de la Bareliere in France for the 2022 breeding season from Yeguada Torre Duero.

The Juddmonte-bred six-year-old won three of his 11 starts for John Gosden, including the Lavazza Stakes, while he was also third in the Cumberland Lodge Stakes and an unlucky third in the King George V Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Having spent two seasons at Yeguada Torre Duero in Spain after his retirement from racing in 2020, First Eleven saw his first foals born this year.

In a report from Jour De Galop, First Eleven will stand on a roster that also includes Presidency, a multiple winning and stakes-placed son of Oasis Dream, and Trade Storm, winner of the Grade 1 Woodbine Mile Stakes in 2014 for David Simcock.

First Eleven is the tenth foal out of the brilliant Zenda, a winner of the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches and a Zamindar half-sister to Oasis Dream.

Her best progeny is undoubtedly Kingman, although she has also produced Tercentenary Stakes scorer Remote, a son of Dansili who is responsible for Argentinian top-level scorers Zuran Zuran and Holi Rimout, as well as three-time scorer Sunray Major and Present Tense.

First Eleven will stand for a fee of €3,500.
