Newsells Park Stud launches digital catalogue ahead of October Yearling Sales
Among the stud's 39-strong team for Book 1 is a Dubawi half-sister to Waldgeist
Newsells Park Stud has launched a digital catalogue for their powerful consignment ahead of the upcoming Tattersalls October Yearling Sales.
Having topped last year's sale with Skylark, a daughter of Galileo out of the prolific producer Shastye who sold to MV Magnier for 3.4 million guineas, the operation has 29 yearlings set to go under the hammer at Book 1 this time.
Among the standouts include 19 siblings to Group/stakes winners such as a Dubawi half-sister to Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe hero Waldgeist (Lot 336) and a Frankel full-brother to St James's Palace Stakes scorer and Newsells Park's stallion Without Parole (346), who was also born and raised at the stud.
Among the Group-winning dams with yearlings on offer are Giant’s Play, Longina, Peace In Motion, Vorda, Waldlerche, Waldlied, Aljazzi and Best Terms.
The Hertfordshire stud will also offer 13 lots out of full- or half-sisters to top-level winners including Lope De Vega and Kingman yearlings out of full or half-sisters to Japan, Mogul, Secret Gesture, and Waldgeist.
General manager Julian Dollar, said: “Last year demonstrated the need and importance of showcasing our yearlings online before the actual sales.
"Our digital catalogue features photographs and videos of the yearlings, as well as the latest updates to the pedigrees, interactive race videos, and cross stakes winners to ensure potential buyers across the world have as much information as possible."
He continued: "We also look forward to seeing buyers in a few weeks at the Tattersalls October Book 1 Sale which has proved so successful for us in the past.”
The digital catalogue for Book 1 can be found here, while Books 2 and 3 will be published on the stud's website later this week.
