National Stud unveils prices for new boys Advertise and Flag Of Honour
Newcomers join Aclaim, Rajasinghe and Time Test in Newmarket
The National Stud in Newmarket is the latest farm to unveil its covering fees for the 2020 breeding season, with exciting newcomer Advertise heading the five-strong roster at £25,000.
The son of Showcasing landed three Group 1s during his two years in training, namely the Phoenix Stakes at two followed by the Commonwealth Cup and Prix Maurice de Gheest at three.
Stud director Tim Lane said: "Advertise possessed the perfect combination of speed, precocity and toughness. His three Group 1 victories cemented him as one of the best sprinters of his generation and we are very confident he has the physical attributes to be the complete package for breeders."
The National Stud's other new recruit is Irish St Leger winner Flag Of Honour, with the son of Galileo introduced as a dual-purpose prospect at £4,500.
"Aclaim has been very well supported throughout his first two seasons at stud," Lane said of the Prix de la Foret winner, who stands under the Avenue Bloodstock banner. "He represents excellent value at his current fee and we are confident his first foals will be well received at the upcoming sales.
"Time Test has also received incredible support in his first two years, he has covered some exceptional mares and his exciting first crop of foals include siblings to 2019 Group 1 Classic winners Star Catcher and Logician. Breeders seem very pleased with his first foals and we look forward to seeing them sell over the coming weeks."
The roster is completed by Coventry Stakes hero Rajasinghe, with the son of Choisir standing his second season on covering duty at an unchanged fee of £5,000.
Lane said: "Rajasinghe was an incredibly fast two-year-old and is a beautiful physical. Rebel Racing have placed tremendous faith in him to date and we are very much looking forward to seeing his first foals next year."
