Dark Raven, currently rated the leading four-year-old bumper horse in Ireland, will be offered at the Tattersalls March Online Sale later this month.

The son of Malinas, a €31,000 purchase when sold by Womanagh Valley Farm at the Tattersalls Ireland November National Hunt Sale in 2017, was led out unsold at €20,000 when presented at the Tattersalls Ireland Derby Sale by Castledillon Stud.

Owned by Patrick McCormack and trained by Willie Mullins, the four-year-old made his racecourse debut an impressive one when winning at Leopardstown by seven and a half lengths last Sunday.

The sale will also include the final instalment of the dispersal from the late Peter Magnier’s Brittas House Stud, headlined by the Listed-winning We Are Ninety plus the Galileo mares Innocent Air and Zee Zee Gee.

Also among the entries is the Old Leighlin House Stables-consigned Jumping Jet, a daughter of Getaway who landed a mares' bumper at Gowran Park by 29 lengths earlier this month.

Other notable lots include Eve Johnson Houghton’s progressive three-year-old Percy Willis, Ken Condon's Elusive King and Culworth Ground's No Risk At All gelding who hails from the family of Jukebox Jury.

The catalogue for the sale will be published online on Wednesday, while bidding will open at midday on Monday, March 22. It closes on midday on Tuesday, March 23.
