Mondialiste to stand at Haras d'Annebault in France next year
Arlington Million hero was previously at Elwick Stud
Mondialiste is moving to Haras d'Annebault in Normandy for the 2021 season, with his fee still to be announced.
The dual Grade 1 winner stood for three years at the late Geoff Turnbull and his wife Sandra's Elwick Stud near Hartlepool at a steady rate of £6,000.
A winner of the Arlington Million and Woodbine Mile for David O'Meara, having previously been trained in France, Mondialiste is a son of Galileo from a fine Wertheimer family.
His dam Occupandiste won the Prix de la Foret and the Maurice de Gheest with the likes of Intello, Elnadim, Fort Wood, Hamas, Timber Country and Dubai Millennium on the page.
It is a joint venture between Haras d'Annebault and the Turnbull family, in a deal brokered by Jason Kelly and Richard Venn.
Nick Turnbull said: "We are pleased to announce that Mondialiste will be standing at Haras d'Annebault for the 2021 season. His first two crops have been exceptional, producing athletic, well balanced horses with fantastic temperaments.
"We are very excited to introduce him to the French market and to give French breeders the opportunity to send their mares to him. His pedigree is rich in Wertheimer history, a legacy we believe will continue through his progeny.
We will continue to support him by sending ten of our own mares to him in France and eagerly anticipate his fist runners in 2021."
Third in the Prix Jean Prat for Freddy Head, Mondialiste was sold privately for €190,000 at the Arqana Summer Sale in 2014. He was beaten a neck in the following year's Lincoln on his debut for the Turnbulls before embarking on his global journey.
