Magna Grecia to start at £5,500 for new beginning on March Hare Stud's 2025 roster
March Hare Stud's high-profile recruit Magna Grecia will stand at an opening fee of £5,500 for the emerging British farm, with limited breeding rights available.
It was announced only a few days ago that the son of Invincible Spirit, a 2,000 Guineas and Futurity Trophy winner, was moving from Coolmore. The half-brother to Dewhurst winner and champion three-year-old St Mark's Basilica has been on the Irish roster since 2020 and his early winners in Europe and Australia as well as the well-bred prospects in the pipeline give his new home optimism that he will be a fruitful signing.
Middle Park Stakes winner Charming Thought, who joined from Darley for 2021, has his £3,000 fee maintained for a third season with March Hare, while Roseman, who has his first runners in 2025, remains at £4,000.
There are three other stallions at the farm with Tip Two Win standing at £2,500 and Diplomat and Master Carpenter both £1,500.
Master Carpenter has had a boost with his son The Craftymaster, who was bred by March Hare's Rosie Gedge-Gibson, proving an all-weather winning machine for Tony Carroll and nominated for the ROA Awards.
