Kalpana's dam added as wildcard to Tattersalls December Mare Sale

Zero Gravity, the dam of last month's British Champions Fillies & Mares Stakes winner and current Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe favourite Kalpana, has been added as a wildcard to the Tattersalls December Mare Sale. 

Offered as lot 1485A in the Sceptre Session on Monday, December 2, she will be offered by Whatton Manor Stud in foal to 2,000 Guineas and Dewhurst hero Chaldean. 

The stakes-winning daughter of Dansili is a sister to Grand Prix de Paris winner Zambezi Sun, while her own sire is responsible for 24 individual top-flight scorers. The 15-year-old is the dam of three further winners as well as Kalpana, also a winner of the September and Glasgow Stakes this year for Andrew Balding. 

The Tattersalls December Mare Sale will take place December 2-5 with the Sceptre Sessions being held on the opening two days. The catalogue can be viewed here.
