Jumps' sire title race to go down to the wire
King's Theatre holds advantage over Flemensfirth
The race between King's Theatre and Flemensfirth to be crowned the leading jumps sire in Britain and Ireland will go down to the wire on Saturday, with Sandown's Bet365 Gold Cup having the potential to play a key role in deciding who takes top honours.
Ballylinch Stud's former resident King's Theatre holds a £55,498 advantage over Flemensfirth - his £2,571,848 putting him ahead of Flemensfirth's £2,516,350 - and one of his four offspring in the Esher feature could seal the title.
Those runners are Regal Encore, who missed this month's Randox Health Grand National, Royal Vacation, Band Of Blood and Theatre Guide.
