BSA's Cape Yearling Sale moves to new venue for next February
Next year's Bloodstock South Africa (BSA) Cape Yearling Sale has a venue change and will be taking place in Constantia Heights on Sunday, February 23.
A regional sale which has shown growth in recent years, it is usually held at Kenilworth but the racecourse is unavailable this time around.
BSA has announced the start of a partnership with the South African Riding for the Disabled Association (SARDA) and the Constantia Valley Riding Club, allowing use of the SARDA Centre for the auction.
SARDA is a non-profit organisation that has been in existence for more than 50 years and offers free equine therapy through horse riding to children and adults living with intellectual and physical disabilities.
"Bloodstock South Africa are excited to be partnering with such a giving organisation and will be supporting SARDA where possible in upgrading their facilities and expanding their programmes," said Michael Holmes, CEO of the BSA.
"All the existing sale related facilities will be easily accommodated at the SARDA Centre and Bloodstock South Africa look forward to hosting vendors and buyers at their Cape Yearling Sale.
The venues for the other Bloodstock South Africa 2025 sales will remain as published on the website.
