International group of 26 welcomed to Irish National Stud management course for 2025
The Irish National Stud has announced the 26 successful students to have joined the class of 2025 for the long established Thoroughbred Breeding Management Course.
A cohort from as far afield as the United States, Colombia, South Africa and Australia will join students from around Europe for the six-month programme, including training and lectures covering all aspects of the subject. The curriculum spans key subjects such as reproductive anatomy and physiology, mare and stallion management, foaling procedures, equine nutrition, equine business and farm management.
"We continue to be impressed by the high calibre of applicants each year, and the Class of 2025 is no exception," said Anne Channon, the education manager.
"As the thoroughbred breeding industry evolves, equipping the next generation with the skills and knowledge to lead the industry forward is essential. We look forward to welcoming the group to the INS in January."
