'I look forward to getting to know the French clients' - Baptiste Henry joins Darley's nomination department
Darley has announced the appointment of Baptiste Henry to the nominations department at Dalham Hall Stud to assist breeders in France.
The newest member of the nominations team at Darley, he will be responsible for looking after French clients going forward.
Following on from a degree in Company Management, Henry began his career in the racing industry at Jebel Ali, before moving into the French National Hunt sphere as a jockey. A serious fall ended his racing career, but he continued to work in racing for both Jerome Reynier and Chauvigny Global Equine.
He assisted Sebastien Desmontils through the French sales season in 2023 and became his permanent assistant last September, gaining experience in selling nominations and preparing matings plans for breeders, as well as maintaining hands-on experience with mares and youngstock.
Henry said: "I'm delighted to be joining the Darley nominations team and look forward to getting to know the French clients and contributing to their continued success with the Darley stallions.”
Henry can be contacted on +33 6 7085 6129 or at bhenry@godolphin.com
