Hermosa a fourth Group winner for her dam Beauty Is Truth
Galileo sister to Hydrangea stamps her Classic credentials at Naas
Beauty Is Truth confirmed her status as a brilliant broodmare with her two-year-old daughter Hermosa - a sister to Group 1 winners Hydrangea and The United States - fending off a game effort from the Foxwedge filly Foxtrot Liv to win the Group 3 Weld Park Stakes at Naas on Sunday.
In the process Hermosa, who was third to Skitter Scatter in the Moyglare Stud Stakes last time out, became the fourth Group winner out of the Pivotal mare Beauty Is Truth.
Beauty Is Truth surely now ranks among the best of Coolmore's broodmare band, which also includes You'resothrilling, whose first five foals to race all struck at Group level.
Her first foal Fire Lily, by Dansili, won three Group 3 sprints including the Anglesey Stakes at two, and placed in the Moyglare Stud Stakes and Prix Marcel Boussac.

Since producing Fire Lily, Beauty Is Truth has been mated exclusively with the Coolmore kingpin Galileo and has produced the Ranvet Stakes scorer The United States, now standing as a stallion in South Africa, and dual Group 1 winner Hydrangea.
Beauty Is Truth also has a yearling filly and filly foal by the perennial champion sire.
It is not surprising that Fire Lily and Hermosa have both won in Group company as juveniles, as Beauty Is Truth was a convincing winner of the Group 3 Prix d'Arenberg over an extended five furlongs in the September of her two-year-old campaign.
The same speed is also evident further back in Hermosa's pedigree, with Beauty Is Truth out of Group 3-winning sprinter Zelding, a half-sister to the ill-fated Zipping, who was champion three-year-old sprinter in Europe in 2002, the same year he finished a close third to Continent in the Prix de l'Abbaye.
Hermosa - who holds an entry in the Bet365 Fillies' Mile - appears to be a Classic candidate for next year and her page is lined with clues which support that suggestion.
Beauty Is Truth's half-sister Glorious Sight was placed in both the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches and Prix de Diane, while Zipping was fourth in the 2,000 Guineas won by Rock Of Gibraltar.
Hermosa is the second Pattern scorer for Pivotal as broodmare sire this weekend after the Kodiac filly Fairyland added her name to the Cheveley Park Stakes roll of honour.
