Harry Fowler to join Goffs UK as bloodstock manager
He is the third new signing for the company so far this year
Harry Fowler is to join the Goffs UK team as bloodstock manager in a major coup for the sales company.
Currently director of sales at Tattersalls Ireland, with whom he has enjoyed a 23-year career, Fowler will begin his new role on Thursday. He is to remain based in Ireland, where he will be an integral full-time member of the Goffs UK management team.
Fowler, who will continue to run his family's Rahinston Farm and Stud alongside his wife, the trainer Lorna Fowler, also joins the company's sales inspection team.
His role with Goffs UK will involve travelling to sales and race meetings across the country, meeting clients and developing new relationships.
Fowler said: “It’s a pleasure to be joining Goffs and I am really looking forward to my new role. Goffs is a wonderful company which is focused on doing the very best for everyone involved in all Goffs sales, both its clients and the Goffs team.
"This is an approach that I find extremely refreshing, and I cannot wait to be part of their big future plans.”
Tim Kent, managing director of Goffs UK, said: "Harry brings a wealth of industry knowledge, contacts and experience to Goffs UK and we are delighted to welcome him as part of the growing Goffs UK team.
"We look forward to working with Harry to further develop the Goffs brand under both codes and enhance our customer service."
Fowler is the third new recruit for Goffs UK this year following the appointment of Bernard Condren as head of sales and former Cheltenham Festival-winning jockey Jerry McGrath, who is the Lambourn-based bloodstock manager.
Kent added: "It is an exciting time for the business, and we are very much looking forward to the years ahead.”
