Group 1 winner Vandeek starting out at a £15,000 fee from Cheveley Park Stud
Cheveley Park Stud's new recruit Vandeek will stand his first season at a fee of £15,000 (October 1, special live foal terms) in 2025.
The brilliant winner of the Middle Park, Prix Morny and Richmond Stakes flew the flag for his highflying young sire Havana Grey and was a good third to Mill Stream on his final start in the July Cup.
Vandeek is from the family of champion sire Anabaa and Group 1 winner and prolific producer Balbonella. He is available to view by appointment and a limited number of lifetime breeding rights are available to breeders.
Cheveley Park managing director Chris Richardson said: "We are thrilled by the response from breeders, both domestically and internationally, endorsing the decision to stand such an exciting stallion prospect as Vandeek at Cheveley Park Stud, in partnership with KHK Racing.
"The speed influence Vandeek brings will really suit our broodmare band as well as that of our clients' mares, and it is exciting for us to go back to what we do best; speed."
The other current stallion resident, Ulysses, who has had five individual Group winners this season and is responsible for the likes of White Birch and Passenger, will stand at a fee of £8,000 (down from £9,000 this year).
