Grade 1 relatives announced for Osarus mixed Lion d’Angers event
The mixed Osarus Lion d’Angers Sale on November 5 has catalogued 127 lots, with 97 lots in the National Hunt section and 30 for the Flat section.
The event begins at 1pm French time and has been the source of many smart graduates including Grade 1 winners Mighty Potter, Laurina, Gelino Bello, Capodanno and Punch Nantais as well as exciting recent performers such as Koriste and Irish Vocation.
The National Hunt section includes 38 two-year-olds, 24 yearlings as well as breeding stock and shares in Seabhac and Montmartre.
Among two-year-olds on offer are a filly by Elm Park out of a full-sister to Grade 1 winner Adagio, a half-sister to Grade 1 winner Candalex, a filly by Desinvolte out of a half-sister to champion Grade 1 winner Un De Sceaux and a colt by The Grey Gatsby who is a half-brother to the Grade 1-placed Predators Gold.
Well-bred yearlings catalogued include a filly by Nirvana du Berlais who is closely related to Grade 1 Prix Cambaceres winner Chimere du Berlais and a filly by Beaumec de Houelle from the immediate family of the brilliant Cyrlight.
