Doncaster confirmed as venue for new November P2P Sale
Auction will be for a variety of National Hunt horses
Goffs has announced that it will hold its new National Hunt sale for November 6 at the Doncaster Sales Complex.
The November P2P Sale will be the first dedicated outlet for pointers this autumn and will be for Irish and UK horses from between the flags as well as bumper horses and young horses with form.
Speaking when announcing the event earlier in the week, before the venue had been finalised, Goffs group chief executive Henry Beeby explained: "With the latter part of the 2019-20 point-to-point season cancelled, as well as our highly successful Aintree and Punchestown sales, we have been working to find a solution to get our point-to-point sales back up and running.
"Handlers too are very keen to see a return of point-to-point sales and this new date sits well with the commencement of point-to-points this coming autumn.
"We have spoken to a number of point-to-point handlers and buyers regarding this new venture for 2020 and the feedback has been very positive so we are confident we will offer a strong catalogue of pointers to a vibrant buying bench on Friday November 6."
