Lot 248
Chestnut colt Harry Angel - Wotnot (Exceed And Excel)
Consigned by Furnace Mill Stud

Furnance Mill Stud offers a colt by the admirable Harry Angel from the excellent family of Whatami, Whazzat and Whazzis – one which has come to prominence once again this season.

The chestnut is already a half-brother to a winner and is out of Exceed And Excel mare Wotnot, a daughter of Whatami and therefore a half-sister to this year's Prix du Lys winner and Grand Prix de Paris third Delius and his Frankel brother, Royal Ascot winner Juan Elcano. Delius broke the Tattersalls Autumn Horses-in-Training record when selling to an Australian group for 1,300,000gns last month.

Their dam Whatami is a Daylami sister to Whazzat, the dam of Mill Reef Stakes winner and Prix Maurice de Gheest second James Garfield and second dam of this year's Royal Lodge Stakes winner Wimbledon Hawkeye, also Group 1-placed when third in the Futurity Trophy.

Lot 336
B c Ardad - Pearly Spirit (Invincible Spirit)
Kellsgrange Stud

Ardad should be in for a solid spell, with 153 two-year-olds of 2025 set to represent him, and this Kellsgrange Stud-consigned colt foal has an eyecatching pedigree. The bay is a half-sibling to two winners and out of the Invincible Spirit mare Pearly Spirit, a sister to Matron Stakes winner Pearls Galore.

Pearly Spirit is also a half-sister to black-type winners Lucky Lycra and Pearly Steph, the latter the dam of dual Group 3 winner Eternal Pearl. Pearly Spirit hails from Haras de Saint Pair's excellent foundation mare and Prix Vermeille winner Pearly Shells.

A family replete with black type, this colt's second dam, Pearl Banks, was a Group 3 winner at Dusseldorf during her own racing career.

Lot 374
B f Ulysses - Degree (Dubawi)
Cheveley Park Stud

Ulysses has had a decent year, with his haul led by Tattersalls Gold Cup winner White Birch and Huxley Stakes victor Passenger, and Cheveley Park Stud offer a well-related filly at Park Paddocks.

The March-born bay is out of the winning Dubawi mare Degree, a daughter of Matron Stakes winner Echelon and half-sister to another Group 1 winner in Sun Chariot and Falmouth Stakes winner Integral.

It is an excellent Cheveley Park family as this filly's third dam is Coronation Stakes winner and 1,000 Guineas third Exclusive, herself the dam of Celebration Mile winner and dual Group 1-placed Chic, while the next dam, Prix Maurice de Gheest winner Exclusive Order, is the dam of 2,000 Guineas hero Entrepreneur and Dance A Dream, winner of the Cheshire Oaks and second in the Oaks.

Lot 645
B f Havana Grey - Fiorina (Showcasing)
Hazelwood Bloodstock

Hazelwood Bloodstock's filly by the brilliant Havana Grey hails from a speedy and successful family, being out of a Showcasing sister to Duke of York Stakes winner and multiple Group 1-placed Tasleet, now famed for being the sire of champion sprinter Bradsell.

This filly's second dam, Birdkey, is a half-sister to Anna Law, the dam of another champion sprinter in the phenomenal Battaash and his Dark Angel brother The Antarctic, a dual Group winner and placed in the Prix Morny and Middle Park Stakes.

Lot 653
B c Pinatubo - Indian Tygress (Sepoy)
Newsells Park Stud

Another youngster with a current pedigree as this colt's dam is a half-sister to Blues Sister, dam of last month's British Champions Sprint Stakes winner Kind Of Blue.

The Sepoy mare is also related to two other British Champions Sprint Stakes winners in The Tin Man and Deacon Blues, while Group 3 winner and Lockinge Stakes runner-up Warningford features under third dam Barford Lady.

A son of promising first-season sire and champion juvenile Pinatubo, this colt's page is likely to continue to update, with Kind Of Blue remaining in training next year. His Mohaather two-year-old half-sister is now in training and could augment the pedigree too.

Lot 908
B f Wootton Bassett - Jawlaat (Shamardal)
McCracken Farms

Wootton Bassett has carried all before him with his first Irish-bred two-year-olds – among them a record four individual Group/Grade 1 winners – and McCracken Farms offers a daughter with plenty of residual value.

She is a half-sister to this year's Dubai Turf winner Facteur Cheval, a graduate of this sale in 2019 who was also second to Charyn in the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes and third to Notable Speech in the Sussex Stakes.

The pair are also half-siblings to the stakes-placed Queen Of The Mud, while it is a family which traces back to Irish Derby hero Santiago; Prix Jacques le Marois and Jean Prat winner Tamayuz; British Champions Fillies & Mares Stakes winner Eshaada; Prix du Jockey Club hero Anabaa Blue; and Urban Sea, the blue-hen dam of Galileo and Sea The Stars.

Lot 931
B c Sea The Stars - Frangipani (Jukebox Jury)
The Castlebridge Consignment

This colt's three-parts brother Fantastic Moon may have finished unplaced in the Japan Cup but he shortly heads to stud as a dual Group 1 winner, having taken the Deutsches Derby and this year's Grosser Preis von Baden.

The Sea The Moon four-year-old, also winner of the 2023 Prix Niel and this year's Grosser Preis der Badischen Wirtschaft, has more than done his bit for the page, while the three-year-old Starspangledbanner half-sister has a win to her name this year.

Dam Frangipani is a winning half-sister to multiple Scandinavian black-type winner Fearless Hunter, while the likes of Rockfel Stakes winner Germane and the American Grade 1-placed Lucky Chappy feature under the colt's third dam.

Lot 936
Ch c Frankel - Audarya (Wootton Bassett)
Genesis Green Stud

This Genesis Green Stud offering looks one of the highlights as a Frankel colt out of Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf and Prix Jean Romanet winner Audarya.

The stud's Michael Swinburn said in a Tattersalls video: "He’s always been a nice foal, and I said to Alison [Swinburn, breeder] early on, this is actually a belter of a foal, would you consider the foal sales because he’ll probably be a standout, and hopefully, he will be.

"Frankel is noted for a good temperament and as for Wootton Bassetts, all they want to do is win. You speak to trainers about him and the quality they say he has more than anything else is the will to win."

The colt has a year-older Dubawi half-sister, and his family also includes the well-travelled Hong Kong Group 1 winner Jim And Tonic and Grade 1 Beverly D Stakes winner Mauralakana.

Lot 945
Ch f Frankel - Suelita (Dutch Art)
Whitsbury Manor Stud

Described by Whitsbury Manor's Ed Harper as "probably the best foal we'll ever produce", everything looks in place for this Frankel filly to command a small fortune.

She is out of the stud's burgeoning blue hen Suelita, dam of this foal's brother, the 2,000 Guineas and Dewhurst winner Chaldean, as well as half-siblings in Mill Reef Stakes winner Alkumait, stakes winner and Flying Five Stakes second Get Ahead, and fellow black-type winner and performer The Broghie Man and Gloves Lynch.

Harper said: “She’s a more feminine version of Chaldean. She’s very similar really. She’s probably a bit bigger than him at the same stage as she’s a month older. She’s got her mother’s head – a really nice feminine head and forward-going attitude."

This filly's Kingman two-year-old half-sister Kassaya, a winner at Nottingham for Andrew Balding, sold to Juddmonte for 1,000,000gns at this sale in 2022, and it is not hard to see this filly fetching such a price.

Lot 954
B c Baaeed - Waliyak (Le Havre)
Barton Stud

From the first crop of Shadwell's world champion turf horse and brilliant six-time Group 1 winner Baaeed, this colt has plenty going for him.

Consigned by Barton Stud, he is out of the Le Havre mare Waliyak, whose record on the track included wins in the Group 3 Prix Bertrand de Tarragon and Listed Dick Hern Stakes, and a second place to the top-class Saffron Beach in the Atalanta Stakes.

It is a family with deep Aga Khan roots as the third dam, Group 3 winner Vadapolina, is a half-sister to Prix Saint-Alary winners Vazira and Vadawina, the latter a prolific black type-producing dam and granddam of European champion three-year-old and exciting young sire Vadeni.

Lot 1034
B c Palace Pier - Shemya (Dansili)
Langton Stud

From the second crop of Darley's world champion miler Palace Pier, this colt is a three-parts brother to high-class performer Cormorant.

That Kingman gelding won the Group 3 Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial for Aidan O'Brien and Coolmore and was also fourth in the Dante Stakes, while their Dansili dam Shemya was likewise a winner.

She is out of dual Group 3 winner Shemima and it is another typically outstanding Aga Khan family as it traces back to Champion Stakes winner Bay Bridge and Shamkiyr, second to The Grey Gatsby in the Prix du Jockey Club.

Lot 1053
Ch c Stradivarius - Reflective (Seeking The Gold)
National Stud

The National Stud offers a colt from the first crop of its hugely popular champion stayer Stradivarius, a son of Sea The Stars who continues to attract a lot of attention from his many fans.

Covering six figure books in his first two seasons, Stradivarius is well represented at Tattersalls and this youngster catches the eye on pedigree.

Reflective is the dam of Noel Murless Stakes winner and Long Distance Cup runner-up Biographer, a race Stradivarius won in 2018.

Lot 1194
B f Perfect Power - Shatha (Muhaarar)
Whatcote Farm Stud

Triple Group 1 winner Perfect Power's first foals were well received at Goffs and the son of Kodiac has some nice offerings at Tattersalls too.

Among them is this Whatcote Farm Stud-offered filly, a granddaughter of Belmont Park Grade 1 winner Lear's Princess from the family of Pretty Mischievous, a multiple top-level winner for Godolphin last year including in the Kentucky Oaks.
