Roger Varian landed his fourth French stakes race of the year with a fourth different filly, when Stylistique took out the Listed Prix Petite Etoile on the all-weather at Deauville on Tuesday.

In doing so, she became the 146th individual stakes winner for Juddmonte's retired stallion Dansili.

A Carisbrooke Stud homebred for Yvonne Jacques, the three-year-old Stylistique joins stable companions Believe In Love, Angel Power and Queen Daenerys as successful raiders to cross the Channel in 2020 for Varian, who also landed this particular contest in 2016 with Dawn Of Hope.

Ridden by Olivier Peslier, the 20-1 chance came home a length and a quarter to the good of fellow Newmarket-trained Perfect Inch, who is with Charlie Fellowes. Vadsena was a further short head back in third for Jean-Claude Rouget.

Stylistique finished a half-length second to subsequent Breeders' Cup runner-up Daahyeh in last year's Rockfel Stakes and had opened her account in June with a gritty victory at Newbury.

Dansili was pensioned from stallion duties in 2018 and his progeny also include the outstanding Harbinger and exceptional performers Flintshire, The Fugue and Zacinto.
